3 Years!

Matt and I just celebrated 3 wonderful years of marriage!  God has blessed me with an incredible man who loves me and our son just as He loves us.  He is a servant at heart and shows me everyday how to care for others.  I pray for many more years to celebrate God's incredible blessings together.

Thank you to Poppa, Mimi and Aunt Meg who babysat while we had a night out (well - an hour out - We're wimps and couldn't leave Cade for too long :)! )

C-L-E-M-S-O----N

We traveled to SC to attend Matt's cousin's wedding on the beautiful clemson campus. Cade looked precious in his dress up outfit and all the great aunts and cousins ohhed and ahhed over him.  Poor guy doesn't get any attention!

Piedmont Park

Cade and I took a trip to Piedmont Park to check out Park Tavern as a possible venue for our 10 year reunion - Any thoughts?

Even thought it was hot he loved crawling in the grass and playing on the playground with the big kids.  Isn't it so fun to listen to 4 year olds talk to babies?!

Great Grandma

Cade met his Great Grandma Pachl this past weekend.  She came all the way from North Dakota to meet her first great grandchild - We laughed and ate a lot - Can't wait for her to come visit again.

He's EVERYWHERE!

Cade is now eating his vegetables - peas, greenbeans, sweet potato, acorn squash - which must give him ton's of strength b/c his is crawling all over the place - pulling up on anything he can see and getting into every nook and cranny of the house - Its FUN!

He is definitely a water baby - LOVES the pool!

I think he's going to be a daredevil  - he cracks up when you push him real high on the swing or spin him around.

Maybe he'll be a musician?

Beach Baby

Matt and I have now discovered I gave birth to a fish instead of a baby. Cade LOVES to swim. He splashes and kicks his legs for an hour straight. He's a natural. Watch out Michael Phelps!
We had a wonderful time at the beach with my family. We are so grateful to have amazing families who are willing to take us on vacation.
Of course we had to end the trip with a beach photo shoot (to Matt's delight!)

Pickens

We finally made it back up to Pickens SC to see Great grandparents, aunts, uncles and many more relatives! Cade got passed around a lot but didn't mind a bit - - more noses to grab and hair to pull!  It was fun to see everyone again.

Fripp Island

Cade and I had a chance to go to the beach with my college roommate Mary Ann and her son Henry.  Cade loved the ocean - He squealed when he saw it! He also splashed in the pool and enjoyed  and playing with his buddy Henry.  Hopefully this will be the first of many Wilkie/Holder vacations!
Yummm! SAND!

Tree Hugger/Destroyer!

We found out quickly that Cade really likes plants and trees.  He will calm right down if we take him outside to see the plants.
Here he is on our front porch reaching for the bushes.

He will pull and pull on the leaves until they come off and he can taste them. YUM!
We spend a lot of time outside!

4 months and Growing Fast!

I can't believe 4 months have already gone by!  Cade is 14 1/2 pounds and in the 90th percentile for his length.  He is getting so big. Cade is "scooting" now which is fun to watch as he puts on his determined face and goes after his favorite toys.
